Whitland RFC former 1st XV captain and scrum half Malcolm Protheroe has sadly passed away. A robust player who also had connections with both Carmarthen teams and St Clears was also a successful referee and a well know local character.
His funeral takes place on Tuesday 29th June at Parc Dr Owen Whitland, at 11:45am at the rugby field that he graced for so many successful seasons.
