π πππ«π’ ππ«π’πππ’ππ‘π¬ π β£ β£ We’ve had many tough and resilient players, coming back from injuries & child birth. But, none quite like our Mari! β£ β£ In December 2018 Mari was diagnosed with Lymphoma, a type of blood cancer. Mari underwent treatment and as a result made a full recovery π β£ β£ In May 2019 we held a charity rugby game along with an auction and raffle to raise funds to support Mari and @lymphoma_action which was a huge success raising a whopping £6401.11! β£ β£ In December 2019 Mari made her return to the field for her first and last game of the 2019-20 season... It was like she’d never been away! β£ β£ And where is she now? She’s loving life in Australia π¨π¦
